Who was
Carlo Gamondi
Way back in 1890, an enterprising twenty-two-year-old, Carlo Gamondi, began his entrepreneurial adventure by opening his own business in Acqui, in the province of Alessandria, and launching Amaro Gamondi with great success.
Amaro quickly gained recognition thanks to its quality, recognized by the numerous awards it received in Italy and abroad, and its highly impactful and ahead-of-its-time advertising. Carlo, a great expert in infusions and a keen observer of popular tastes, over time launched other products alongside Amaro, such as Vermouth, Aperitivo, and others.
After more than 130 years, Carlo Gamondi's innovative spirit is still with us and inspires our thinking and the way we work every day.
